It’s important to keep in mind that prescriptions and dental services may come with charges. If you’re planning on staying in England for less than 6 months, it’s vital to have personal medical insurance to ensure you’re fully covered for healthcare during your stay, even if you previously lived in the UK. In the event that you become unwell while on your trip, having a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) provided by the country can offer coverage for any necessary medical treatment expenses.
